2026 Here. We. Go.
Hello from HART-Accel Pro Cycling!
Last month, the HART-Accel team gathered in St. George, UT to lay foundations, hang out with the Accel Junior and U23 squads, and get to know our new teammate, Sydney Neilson!
Welcome Sydney Neilson! CMU 2025 Graduate: K–12 Kinesiology Teaching and Adapted Physical Education. 2025 Cat1 Enduro National Champion. Frequenter of UCI top 10s and podiums.
HART-Accel Team Camp! -
The HART-Accel Cycling national program, ages 11-29
The previously Utah based Accel Cycling is going national this year, aligning perfectly with HART’s goal of national and International performance. As a whole, the HART-Accel program has lofty goals of healthy, sustainable racing careers starting in the kids races and ripping through to enjoying racing as an adult, passing through national and World Cup podiums along the journey.
To kick off training camp, the HART-Accel squad got three great days of riding in with the Juniors and u23 riders including technical Gooseberry Mesa, a Short Track Relay around basecamp, a time-trial lap of Hurricane Rim, an Airport Mesa climb, and a day at the Santa Clara BMX track!

Between great rides and great shenanigans, the HART riders pulled from their decades of racing experience in Q&A sessions with the younger riders and their parents. The kids had us going deep talking about balancing racing with education, mental health, training and racing on a tight schedule, dialing in nutrition on and off the bike. These are the things HART loves diving into!
After our three days with the whole squad, HART-Accel Pro Cycling dove full on into Pro Training Camp! Each day was: roll out of bed to Samuel flipping colossal pancakes, run through a plan for the day, Sydney ready and in her kit 15min before everyone else, on the bikes for huge miles, then team recovery, stretching, media, computer work, reading books, and chats. All told, Team Camp was ~30hr ride time, ~430 miles, some sweet trails, great conversations, and a whole lot of food.

The primary goals of team camp are:
-Get to know the team.
-Build some massive fitness.
-Get to know the equipment.
2026 brought a lot of scary sponsor changes. Partners we thought were in it for the long haul disappeared or gave us offers we just straight up couldn’t afford, encouraging talks fell apart or ghosted. It was frustrating and had us wondering how we would be racing bikes again in 2026.
Niner Bikes stepped up in a big way, getting behind our spirit of performance, longevity on the bike, and adventure where pavement ends. The day before team camp, Jeremy loaded his van with four bike boxes for a build party on arrival. At 10:30pm the next day, after 11hr on the freeway, four Niner RKT 9 RDO’s were out of the box and getting ready to hit the trail!
These RKTs are designed with racing in mind with Niner’s CVA suspension technology giving the rear wheel traction without loosing pedaling energy or spring loading the bike toward an OTB. These bikes ride like a dream, descend like a mountain goat, and climb like a ROCKET! We are looking forward to testing them out between the tape next week!
Bike sponsors are not an easy thing to find or an easy thing to give. We are extremely grateful for Niner stepping up and making our dreams possible this year!

Full send in the dessert!
The team with their RKT 9 RDO bikes! Grins all around! (don’t mind Jeremy, he was spaced out at the moment. It happens.)
Another new sponsor in 2026 is Kenda Tires! Rolling up to Team Manager Jason’s house for some tasty dinner and finding boxes of fresh tires waiting for us was a great treat! We’ve been ripping these tires in training, and we’re excited to test them out in some races!
Jeremy instantly picked out the Rush to rip around race tracks in 2026.

We have more sponsors, partners, and cool products to show you in the coming weeks, but we couldn’t wait to welcome and thank Niner and Kenda!
